Cognizant - Middleware/JBOSS Administrator

Job Description :

- Strong hands-on experience in JBoss ,Tomcat, WebSphere, WebLogic , Apache, and IIS administration.

- In-depth understanding of middleware architecture, clustering, load balancing, and SSL certificate management.

- Experience in Linux/Unix environments with scripting in Shell, Bash, and Ansible.

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, and deployment automation.

- Proficient in Docker container management and basic Kubernetes understanding.

- Solid knowledge of monitoring tools like OPmanger, App Manager, Splunk

- Experience in performance tuning, log analysis, and troubleshooting complex issues.

- Strong understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management).

- Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow and ManageEngine ServiceDesk .

- Proven experience handling P1/P2 incidents, RCA creation, and DR execution.

- Working knowledge of Excel reporting and data presentation.

- Ability to create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

- Participate in Disaster Recovery (DR) drills, environment restoration, and failover testing.

- Understanding of middleware security hardening and compliance practices.
