About the Role :

We are seeking a Data Scientist with strong hands-on experience in machine learning, NLP, and voice bot development.

The ideal candidate will work on building, optimizing, and scaling conversational AI solutions, including speech-to-text (STT), text-to-speech (TTS), intent classification, and dialog workflows.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and optimize machine learning and NLP models for voice-based conversational systems.

- Build, train, and evaluate models for intent detection, entity extraction, sentiment analysis, and conversation flows.

- Work with speech recognition (ASR/STT) and speech synthesis (TTS) tools to improve bot accuracy and user experience.

- Analyze user conversation data to identify patterns, improve accuracy, and enhance bot performance.

- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate ML components into production systems.

- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA), feature engineering, and data preprocessing.

- Monitor ML model performance and implement improvements or retraining strategies.

- Work on A/B testing, model validation, and performance evaluation for conversational AI models.

- Document solutions, workflows, and model approaches clearly.

Required Skills :

- 3+ years of experience in Data Science / Machine Learning.

- Strong understanding of NLP techniques : tokenization, embeddings, transformers, BERT, intent classification.

- Experience building or enhancing voice bots / speech-based conversational systems.

- Hands-on experience with ASR/STT engines (Google STT, Azure Cognitive Services, Whisper, etc.

- Experience with TTS engines (Amazon Polly, Google TTS, Azure TTS, etc.

- Strong programming skills in Python and ML libraries (TensorFlow / PyTorch, Scikit-learn, NLTK, SpaCy, HuggingFace).

- Experience working with large datasets and data pipelines.

- Ability to understand business problems and convert them into data-driven solutions.

Good to Have :

- Experience with RASA, Dialogflow, IBM Watson Assistant, or similar bot frameworks.

- Knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning.

- Familiarity with deployment tools (Docker, Flask/FastAPI, AWS/Azure).

- Experience with real-time streaming data and analytics.

- Understanding of conversational UX design.

Education :

Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.
