Coforge - Middleware Integration Lead - Kafka/Apache Camel

Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Middleware Lead to architect, design, and lead the development of robust middleware solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Apache Camel, Kafka, and Spring Boot, along with a strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, microservices architecture, and cloud-native development.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design and implementation of middleware solutions using Apache Camel, Kafka, and Spring Boot.

- Architect scalable and resilient integration platforms for enterprise applications.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Define and enforce best practices for middleware development, deployment, and monitoring.

- Mentor and guide a team of developers, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to architectural standards.

- Optimize performance and troubleshoot complex integration issues.

- Ensure security, scalability, and maintainability of middleware components.

- Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Proven experience (8+ years) in middleware and integration technologies.

- Strong hands-on experience with Apache Camel (routes, processors, components).

- Expertise in Apache Kafka (producers, consumers, topics, stream processing).

- Proficiency in Spring Boot and related Spring ecosystem (Spring Cloud, Spring Integration).

- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON/XML, and message transformation.

- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native design.

- Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns (EIP) and event-driven architecture.

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with API Gateways (e.g., Kong, Apigee).

- Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).

- Exposure to DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).

- Certifications in relevant technologies or cloud platforms.
