Role : SAP BTP CAPM Developer (Java OR Node.js)

Role Overview :

We are seeking a skilled SAP BTP CAPM Developer with strong expertise in Java-based cloud-native application development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scalable enterprise solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) using Cloud Foundry and the Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM).

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications on SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry environment).

- Build scalable backend services using CAPM (Java) and Spring Boot.

- Develop and consume RESTful APIs with JSON-based endpoints.

- Implement object-oriented design principles and clean architecture patterns.

- Create and manage data models using SAP HANA and Core Data Services (CDS).

- Implement JPA/ORM for database operations (CRUD).

- Ensure application quality through automated testing and unit tests.

- Manage code using Git/SVN and follow CI/CD best practices.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Must-Have Skills :

Core Technologies :

- SAP BTP Cloud Foundry (application development & deployment)

- SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM) Java

- Java, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, MVC)

- RESTful Web Services (JSON APIs)

- Object-Oriented Design & Design Patterns

Data & Persistence :

- SAP HANA data modeling

- SAP Core Data Services (CDS)

- JPA, ORM frameworks

- Strong understanding of CRUD operations

DevOps & Tooling :

- Git / SVN version control

- Build tools : Maven, Gradle

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines

Good-to-Have Skills :

- Interest in full-stack development

- Frontend exposure to SAPUI5 and client-side JavaScript

- Experience with background jobs / schedulers (e.g., Crunz, Gearman)

- Knowledge of caching mechanisms such as Redis
