We are seeking a highly skilled Magento 2 Developer with extensive experience in both backend and frontend development.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building and maintaining high-performance Magento stores, developing custom themes and extensions, optimizing site performance, and working with modern eCommerce tech stacks.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and SEO-optimized Magento solutions.

Required Experience : 3 to 5 years.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain custom Magento 2 themes, extensions, and integrations.

- Work on frontend development using LESS, CSS, HTML5, JavaScript, and Knockout.js.

- Optimize store performance for high-traffic, high-order environments.

- Implement and manage Magento caching strategies using Redis, Varnish, and built-in Magento cache.

- Develop and optimize search functionality using Elasticsearch or OpenSearch.

- Perform debugging using tools like Xdebug, Magento logs, and developer toolbar.

- Ensure SEO best practices are followed, including structured data, canonical URLs, clean markup, and site speed improvements.

- Configure and maintain Apache/Nginx web servers for Magento hosting.

- Collaborate with design, QA, and product teams to deliver robust and user-friendly e-commerce experiences.

- Maintain code quality through code reviews and testing.

- Integrate third-party APIs and extensions efficiently.

- Stay up to date with Magento security patches, new releases, and industry trends.

Required Qualifications :

- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Magento 2 development.

- Strong PHP skills and solid experience with at least one PHP framework (Laravel, Symfony, Zend, etc.

- Deep knowledge of Magentos architecture, module development, and customization best practices.

- Proficient in frontend development: LESS, CSS, Knockout.js, JavaScript, HTML5.

- Strong understanding of SEO principles and implementation in Magento.

- Experience using Xdebug and other debugging/profiling tools.

- Experience configuring and optimizing Apache or Nginx for Magento.

- Comfortable with Elasticsearch/OpenSearch setup and tuning.

- Experience with Magento cache systems and performance optimization.

- Experience in large-scale eCommerce stores with high order volumes.

- Familiarity with major Magento extensions (e.g., Amasty, Mirasvit, AheadWorks).

- Experience with other eCommerce platforms like WooCommerce, Shopify, or BigCommerce is a big plus.

- Solid experience with MySQL and database performance tuning.

- Git version control and experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Magento 2 Certification(s).

- Experience with headless Magento or PWA Studio.

- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments.

- Contributions to the Magento open-source community or plugin development.

- Experience with cloud hosting (e.g., AWS, DigitalOcean) is a plus.
