Role Overview :

As a Test Lead at Coddle Technologies, you will be instrumental in shaping the quality assurance landscape for our critical product offerings. You will lead a talented team of QA engineers, guiding them through the entire testing lifecycle from strategy definition to execution and reporting.

This role involves close collaboration with product managers, development teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that our software products meet the highest standards of reliability, performance, and user satisfaction. Your leadership will directly impact the successful delivery of robust applications, safeguarding our reputation for quality and accelerating our market growth.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define, develop, and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans for complex software projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and product requirements.

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, continuous improvement, and high performance in all testing activities.

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust test automation frameworks using Selenium with Java, enabling efficient and repeatable testing across various platforms and applications.

- Oversee the execution of diverse testing types, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing, ensuring thorough validation of all software releases.

- Collaborate proactively with cross-functional teams to identify, analyze, and resolve defects, driving issues to closure to maintain product integrity and release readiness.

- Champion best practices in software quality assurance, including test automation, continuous integration, and continuous delivery pipelines, to enhance overall product quality and accelerate time-to-market.

- Provide expert guidance on manual testing methodologies and techniques, ensuring comprehensive test coverage for areas where automation is not feasible or optimal.

- Drive continuous process improvements within the QA function, evaluating new tools and technologies to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.

- Report on testing progress, risks, and quality metrics to project stakeholders, providing clear insights and recommendations for informed decision-making.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in leading and managing QA teams, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software products within an agile development environment.

- Deep understanding and hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining robust test automation frameworks using Selenium with Java.

- Proficiency in various testing methodologies, including functional, integration, system, and regression testing, with a strong foundation in manual testing principles and practices.

- Exceptional project management skills, capable of planning, executing, and monitoring complex testing initiatives from inception to completion.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, adept at dissecting complex technical issues and proposing effective, data-driven solutions.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of articulating technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences and fostering collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field from a reputable institution.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, demonstrating adaptability and resilience while working effectively in an on-site capacity in Bangalore.
