Role Overview :

As a Senior MERN Stack Developer at Coddle Technologies, you will be a key player in designing, developing, and maintaining our core healthcare platform. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into robust, scalable, and user-friendly applications. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of healthcare delivery, contributing to better patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement scalable and maintainable RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js to support our web and mobile applications.

- Develop and maintain responsive and engaging user interfaces using React.js, ensuring a seamless user experience across different devices.

- Architect and manage MongoDB databases, optimizing performance and ensuring data integrity for our critical healthcare data.

- Collaborate with the front-end and back-end teams to integrate APIs and ensure smooth data flow throughout the application.

- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code, adhering to industry best practices and coding standards to maintain high code quality.

- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to improve the overall quality of the codebase.

- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in both front-end and back-end systems, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to users.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and productivity.

- Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support to help them grow their skills and contribute effectively to the team.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design and develop full-stack web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).

- Proven expertise in building and consuming RESTful APIs, with a strong understanding of API design principles.

- Solid understanding of JavaScript, including ES6+ features, and experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries.

- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, and proficiency in using branching strategies and pull requests.

- Ability to write clean, well-documented, and testable code, with a focus on code quality and maintainability.

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve complex issues.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- 4-6 years of relevant experience in MERN stack development.
