Key Responsibilities :

- Work in an IBM i Series (AS400) environment, utilizing system commands and understanding database structures and library hierarchy.

- Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using COBOL/400, SQL/400, and CL programming languages.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing programs and queries.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/SAFe methodologies for software delivery.

- Leverage tools like DBU, SEQUEL, Work Query, CA2E Implementor, and ROBOT for efficient development and management.

- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and backlog grooming sessions.

- Utilize change management tools to track and deploy software changes.

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Required Skills :

- 6+ years of hands-on development experience in COBOL/400, SQL/400, and CL.

- Working knowledge of IBM i Series (AS400) system architecture, commands, and environment.

- Familiarity with tools such as DBU, SEQUEL, CA2E Implementor, ROBOT, etc.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication and team collaboration abilities.

- Experience using Agile/SAFe methodologies.

Good to Have :

- Exposure to Change Management tools.

- Experience working in large enterprise environments or BFSI domain is a plus.
