Cobalt - Senior Solution Engineer

About this role :

As a Senior Solutions Engineer at Cobalt, youll be at the frontlines of helping SaaS companies integrate faster, smarter, and more reliably. Youll work directly with engineering teams at customer companies, understand complex integration workflows, and help architect solutions using Cobalts platform. This role blends technical depth with customer empathy and is ideal for engineers who love solving real-world problems with immediate business impact.

What Youll Do :

- Partner with CTOs & product teams to design scalable integrations.

- Build workflows in Cobalt to orchestrate data flow & API calls across systems.

- Convert technical requirements into reliable, production-ready implementations.

- Support pre-sales with product expertise and quick proof-of-concept builds.

- Partner with product and engineering to inform roadmap based on real-world usage.

- Onboard and train customers to get the most out of Cobalt.

- Act as a technical escalation point post-launch to debug and optimize workflows.

- Document reusable solutions to streamline future deployments.

Must-haves :

- 2+ years of experience in solutions engineering, backend dev, or tech consulting.

- Proficient in Node.js, REST APIs, webhooks, and auth flows.

- Bias for ownership and speedyou build, ship, and iterate fast.

- Skilled at simplifying complex problems and guiding customers to solutions.

- Clear communicator, able to explain tech to both engineers and non-engineers.

- Confidently juggling multiple customer projects and priorities.

- Bonus : Strong product instincts or interest in transitioning to a product role.
