Job Purpose :
The Process Quality Lead provides guidance and ensures business practices are in alignment with Quality System Regulation and ISO 9001 requirements.
This role focuses on the quality of software development processes and the resulting products.
Key Responsibilities :
Primary and Secondary duties :
- Develops quality assurance plans by conducting process quality risk analysis across the software development lifecycle.
- Determines quality assurance requirements to ensure that in-process and final production software is in compliance with company and customer quality standards and delivery requirements.
- Ensures adherence to ISO 9001 and other Quality Management Systems (QMS) specific to software development.
- Determines the impact of quality specifications, design documents, and technical requirements on software development and delivery.
- Evaluates customer contractual specifications and implements the Quality Assurance requirements they specify.
- Acts as a liaison and a technical resource to support areas such as Product Management, Software Development, and Quality Engineering in the analysis and resolution of production issues.
- Provides quality and inspection sign-off and approval for all production releases and patches.
- Responsible for assuring that the Quality Manual, Quality Procedures, and all other quality documentation are maintained, current, and accurately implemented by applicable departments.
- Monitors and facilitates adherence to ISO 9001 and customer-driven quality systems.
- Directs the external audit of the Quality Management System for compliance with established customer and regulatory requirements.
Experience Required : Education/Qualifications (Min) : Graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Essential Experience And Skills :
- 1520 years of experience in the software development or tech industry is preferred.
- Proven influencing skills to achieve results and maintain positive 360-degree working relationships, particularly with peers and those in more senior roles.
- Strong organization, time management, and communication skills are essential.
- Experience as a key contributor to a cross-functional team, serving as a representative for a given function or area.
- Exposure to the technical aspects of the role, including technical writing, systems testing, and quality and compliance management.
- Prior direct supervision of teams.
- Experience with testing frameworks, including sampling methodologies, data analysis, and reporting
