Clyptus - SAP TM Consultant - BAPI/BADI

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead SAP TM Implementations : Take a leadership role in all phases of SAP TM implementations, from discovery sessions and solution design to workshops, configuration, and go-live support.

- Solution Design & Architecture : Formulate and architect SAP TM solutions that align with client-specific needs, industry best practices, and overall logistics strategies.

- Process Expertise : Possess a deep understanding of end-to-end transportation processes, including but not limited to, freight order management, planning, execution, charge management, and settlement.

- Technical ABAP Proficiency

- Demonstrate expert knowledge of RFCs, BAPIs, BADIs, BDCs, User Exits, and enhancement points within the SAP environment.

- Exhibit strong knowledge of outbound/inbound ABAP interfaces using IDOCs, BAPIs, and RFCs for integration with middleware and flat files.

- Be an expert in IDOC enhancements.

- Broad SAP Technical Knowledge : Possess a broad technical understanding of key SAP functionality and technology beyond just TM.

- Reporting & Analytics : Have exposure to CDS views for reporting purposes and familiarity with O365 Microsoft tools.

- Client Engagement : Actively participate in client-facing roles, including scope definition, requirements gathering, and project delivery.

- Communication & Collaboration : Leverage strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients, project teams, and stakeholders.

- Continuous Improvement : Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization and system enhancements within the SAP TM landscape.

- Knowledge Transfer : Contribute to knowledge transfer and documentation efforts.

Mandatory Skills :

- SAP TM (SAP Transportation Management)

- Full project lifecycle end-to-end implementation experience

- Deep understanding of transportation processes, charge management, and settlement

- Expert knowledge of RFCs, BAPIs, BADIs, BDCs, User Exits, and enhancement points

- Strong knowledge of outbound/inbound ABAP interfaces using IDOCs, BAPIs, RFCs to/from Middleware, and flat files

- Expert in IDOC enhancements

- Client-facing experience (scope definition, project delivery)

Desired/Secondary Skills :

- Knowledge of S/4HANA and BN4L (Business Network for Logistics)

- Exposure to CDS views for reporting purposes

- Familiarity with O365 Microsoft tools
