Key Responsibilities :
Integration Strategy & Design :
- Lead and facilitate customer design and requirement workshops to gather integration needs, functional specifications, and business objectives.
- Architect, design, and validate Workday integration frameworks leveraging Workday Studio, Core Connectors (CCTP, PICOF, PECI), EIBs, Web Services (SOAP, REST), and custom XSLT transformations.
- Develop and maintain integration design documents (IDDs), technical architecture diagrams, and deployment standards aligned with CloudRocks delivery framework.
- Build accurate effort and resource estimates for integration workstreams and validate estimates produced by junior consultants.
- Collaborate with cross-functional Workday functional leads, payroll, HRIS, and security teams to ensure seamless end-to-end integration solutions.
Implementation & Delivery :
- Manage and deliver end-to-end Workday integration projects, from requirement analysis and design to build, test, and deployment phases.
- Oversee data migration and transformation strategies ensuring accuracy, performance, and compliance with Workdays data architecture.
- Conduct peer code reviews, performance tuning, and error resolution for complex Workday integrations.
- Ensure adherence to Workday deployment methodology, including configuration management, documentation, and release control processes.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients, providing guidance on integration best practices, scalability, and system optimization.
Leadership & Team Development :
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to the India-based Workday integration team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Support recruitment and capability building efforts to scale CloudRocks Workday Integration Practice.
- Manage client escalations and lead resolution efforts through technical and stakeholder management.
- Drive internal knowledge sharing and establish reusable accelerators, templates, and governance standards.
Mandatory Experience :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years implementing technical solutions for HR, Payroll, or Financial systems using Workday, Oracle, or SAP within a consulting or enterprise environment.
- 3+ years of Workday Integration implementation experience with at least 1 year in a lead or senior consultant role.
- Proven expertise in Workday Studio, Core Connectors (PICOF, PECI, CCTP), EIB, XSLT, XML, REST/SOAP APIs, and data transformation logic.
- Strong understanding of HR/Finance data models, integration security, and middleware architecture.
- Experience managing full lifecycle Workday Integration projects, from discovery to post-production support.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to operate in fast-paced delivery environments.
