Job Title : QA Engineer (Manual)
Location : Work from home
Job Type : Full-time
Must have experience : SaaS and ecommerce domain is must.
About the Role :
We're looking for someone who is proactive, curious, and eager to take ownership of the QA functionbringing ideas to the table, suggesting improvements, and continuously working to enhance the quality process as the product evolves.
Responsibilities :
- Test APIs using tools like Postman, and validate backend functionalities.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand feature requirements and ensure complete test coverage.
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives as part of an agile team.
- Identify, log, and track bugs in issue tracking tools.
- Continuously research and implement new testing tools, techniques, and best practices to improve QA
efficiency and effectiveness.
- Help build and scale QA systems and processes as the company grows.
Requirements :
- Experience with Postman for API testing and with any tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.) is highly preferred.
- Ability to understand product requirements and users perspective.
- A proactive mindset with the willingness to take initiative and suggest improvements.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have :
- Basic scripting or programming knowledge (JavaScript, Python, etc.).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating tests in deployment workflows.
