We are looking for a Network Engineer to join our infrastructure team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between traditional hardware networking and modern cloud environments.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with strong foundational networking skills who is eager to work with Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) and Network Automation (Ansible/Python/Terraform).

The Rubrik Network Engineering team is responsible for architecting, building, automating, and managing our Global Network Infrastructure in Datacenter and all three major public cloud providers.

As a Network Engineer you will work with talented colleagues on challenging projects within the TechOps Infrastructure. This position will be located in our Bangalore, HQ.

Responsibilities :

- Network Infrastructure : Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot L2/L3 switching and routing on Cisco and Arista platforms.

- Security Operations : Manage basic firewall policies, NAT rules, and VPN troubleshooting on Palo Alto Networks devices.

- Cloud Networking : Assist in maintaining cloud network constructs, including VPCs, VNETs, and hybrid connectivity across AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Automation : Utilize Ansible playbooks for configuration management and write scripts (Python/Bash) to automate routine network tasks and data collection.

- Monitoring & Support : Monitor network health, respond to alerts, and document network diagrams and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Basic Qualifications :

- 3-7 years of relevant experience in Network Engineering or Operations.

- Solid understanding of networking protocols : TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP.

- Hands-on experience with Cisco (IOS/NX-OS) or Arista (EOS) devices.

- Understanding of Palo Alto firewalls and security concepts.

- Foundational knowledge of public cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Experience with network automation tools (Ansible), scripting (Python or Bash), Terraform etc.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certifications : CCNA, JNCIA, or equivalent.

- Cloud Certifications : AWS Cloud Practitioner or Azure Fundamentals.

- Experience with Linux command line and Git version control.

- Strong troubleshooting mindset and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
