Role : Backend NodeJs Developer

We are seeking a senior, hands-on Backend NodeJs Developer to lead the transfer, ownership, and further development of our Decision Engine production service. This role requires deep technical expertise in Node.js/TypeScript, AWS cloud infrastructure, and Terraform-managed environments, along with proven experience in cloud migrations, operational readiness, and technical discovery. You will drive engineering excellence across CI/CD, security, and release processes while collaborating closely with engineers, product owners, and data science teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the transfer and ownership of the Decision Engine production service, ensuring seamless operational continuity.

- Develop and maintain Node.js/TypeScript Lambda services for production-grade decision-making workflows.

- Build and enhance Next.js-based internal portals, including admin and solver portals.

- Architect and implement infrastructure changes using Terraform-managed AWS environments.

- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline and CodeBuild.

- Drive the review and improvement of CI/CD, PR controls, security scanning, and release processes.

- Validate infrastructure-as-code, deployment pipelines, environment configuration, and secrets handling.

- Conduct technical discovery of existing systems to inform migration and modernization strategies.

- Mentor engineers on backend architecture, cloud best practices, and operational readiness standards.

- Collaborate with product owners and data science teams to support and productionize decision engine outputs.

Reports To : Reports to the Engineering Manager or Head of Engineering.

Work Schedule : Standard on-site working hours with occasional flexibility required to support release cycles and production migration activities.

Growth & Development : Clear path toward Lead Engineer or Principal Engineer roles, with opportunities to expand into cloud architecture leadership and AI/LLM productionization initiatives.
