CloudAngles - Application Architect - .Net/Java/Python

About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Application Architect with deep expertise in designing and architecting large scale enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate should have strong proficiency in at least one backend technology stack Java, Python, or .NET along with solid experience in cloud native architectures and distributed systems.

This is a high-impact, strategic role involving technical leadership, solution design, and architectural decision making across complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end to end architecture design for enterprise-grade applications using Java, Python, or .NET.

- Define system architecture, integration patterns, microservices, and cloud native solutions.

- Design API frameworks, asynchronous systems, and scalable distributed architectures.

- Provide technical leadership and guide development teams across multiple projects.

- Evaluate and recommend technology stacks, frameworks, and architectural approaches.

- Conduct architecture reviews, performance tuning, and security assessments.

- Create and maintain High?Level Design (HLD) and Low?Level Design (LLD) documentation.

- Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, Security, and UI/UX teams for seamless delivery.

- Promote best engineering practices including design patterns, code quality, CI/CD, and cloud adoption.

- Mentor engineering teams and support technical decision-making across the organization.

- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, cloud trends, and modern application architectures.

Required Technical Skills :

Core Technologies (any one stack) :

- Java (Spring Boot, Spring, Hibernate/JPA)

- Python (Django, Flask, FastAPI)

- .NET / .NET Core (C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework)

Architecture & Design :

Experience with :

- Microservices, distributed systems, event-driven architectures

- RESTful API design and integration patterns

- Messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Service Bus, etc.)

- OOP, SOLID principles, DDD, and clean architecture

Cloud & DevOps :

- Hands-on experience with AWS / Azure / GCP

Working knowledge of :

- Docker, Kubernetes

- CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)

- Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) added advantage

Databases :

- SQL: PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle

- NoSQL: MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis

Soft Skills & Leadership :

- Strong architectural decision-making abilities

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Clear communication and documentation capability

- Ability to lead and influence engineering teams and stakeholders

- Strategic mindset with focus on scalability, reliability, and performance

Minimum Education :

- Bachelors degree in computer science / engineering (or equivalent)

- MBA from IIM preferred for candidates applying under the 35-year relevant experience criteria
