Job Title : Senior Linux Administrator.

Experience Required : 5- 8 Years.

Work Location : Hyderabad ( Work From Office).

Shift : 24/7 rotational shift.

Job Summary :

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in system administration, automation, clustering, and container technologies.

Primary Responsibilities :

- Implement and manage Pacemaker High Availability (HA) Clusters.

- Perform patch management.

- Create and manage partitions, LVMs, and mount file systems.

- Configure and manage yum repositories, perform kernel upgrades and minor OS version updates.

- Troubleshoot Linux servers running on virtual platforms.

- Perform scheduled operations such as log rotation, cron job management, and automated tasks.

- Monitor and tune server performance, analyze logs and resolve performance bottlenecks.

- Apply ITIL best practices in incident, request, problem, and change management.

- Configure and secure systems using iptables, TCP wrappers, and host-level firewall settings.

- Install and configure services: FTP, Samba, NFS (server/client), DNS, HTTPD/Apache, LDAP.

- Manage DNS entries and host records using DNS portals.

- Automate tasks using Shell Scripting and Ansible Playbooks.

- Perform system backups using tar, rsync, scp, gzip, etc.

- Work in 24/7 support model, primarily during North America shifts.

- Prepare incident reports (IRs) and root cause analysis documentation.

- Support project build and BAU operations for large-scale infrastructure.

Required Qualifications :

- 4- 8 years of hands-on Linux system administration experience.

- Strong understanding of Linux internals, system boot process, runlevels, and systemd.

- Experience in Pacemaker cluster setup and troubleshooting.

- Scripting expertise in Bash/Shell.

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for infrastructure and application issues.

- Good verbal and written communication skills.

- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.

Preferred Certifications :

- SUSE Certified Administrator (SCA).
