Location : Hyderabad ( Work from Office)

Were seeking a skilled MongoDB Migration Specialist with 45 years of hands-on experience in migrating MongoDB databases across on-prem, cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), and hybrid environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end MongoDB database migrations across diverse environments.

- Ensure data integrity and performance during and post-migration.

- Support cloud transitions to AWS, Azure, GCP, or hybrid models.

- Optimize MongoDB replication, sharding, indexing, and backups.

- Automate migration tasks with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

- Troubleshoot migration challenges and minimize downtime.

- Collaborate with DBAs, DevOps, and stakeholders to ensure success.

- Maintain documentation and report progress throughout the project lifecycle.

What Were Looking For :

- Strong hands-on experience with MongoDB (v5.x 7.x).

- Deep understanding of replication, sharding, backup, and performance tuning.

- Experience with MongoDB Atlas, Ops Manager, or other migration tools.

- Solid scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.

- Excellent problem-solving and cross-team collaboration abilities.

Nice to Have :

- MongoDB certification (DBA/Developer).

- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.

- Exposure to large-scale migrations
