Cloud Specialist - DevOps

Job Title : Cloud Specialist DevOps / Container Infrastructure Architect

Location : Bangalore

Education & Experience :

- Bachelors in Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech) or Masters (M.E. / M.Tech) in Computer Science, Electronics, IT, or related discipline.

- 8+ years of total industry experience.

- 5+ years of proven experience in DevOps practices.

- 8+ years working with cloud technologies.

- 3+ years hands?on experience with microservices architecture.

Core Skills & Technical Requirements :

- Strong fundamentals in IT Infrastructure and Cloud (especially Azure; experience with AWS and/or Google Cloud is a plus).

- Expert in containerization technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, orchestration, deployment, scaling, monitoring.

- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, ARM/Bicep, etc.

- Deep experience in scripting / automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar).

- Extensive experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines (build & release automation).

- Experience using Azure DevOps or similar for version control, pipeline management, artifacts, etc.

- Ability to architect and design infrastructure for enterprise?class applications in Azure (network, storage, virtual machines, PaaS, databases, app services).

Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and manage end?to?end container infrastructure & orchestration solutions.

- Architect robust, scalable cloud infrastructure and services to support enterprise demands.

- Lead implementation of IaC to provision, update, and manage infrastructure in a consistent, reproducible manner.

- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, deploy, release, rollback, etc.

- Integrate with enterprise identity / access systems (Active Directory, Enterprise SSO).

- Develop and document cloud architectures, covering network topology, storage, compute, databases, security, VM/PaaS services.

- Apply architectural governance, enforce compliance with organizational standards, security best

practices, regulatory requirements.

- Design and enforce security controls: network security groups, firewalls, encryption (in transit & at rest), key management, etc.

- Monitor, optimize, and manage cloud costs; ensure cost efficiency through intelligent design, tagging,

resource lifecycle management, rightsizing.

- Collaborate closely with IT teams, application developers, security teams, stakeholders to collect requirements, address dependencies, ensure delivered solutions meet business needs.

Must to Have :

- Experience with multi?cloud environments (AWS, Google Cloud).

- Experience with hybrid cloud / on?prem + cloud integrations.

- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, alerting tools (like Azure Monitor, Prometheus, etc.).

- Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect, etc.

- Experience working in regulated industries or with regulatory compliance frameworks.
