About the Role :

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to be the technical authority for our cloud transformation and digital modernization initiatives, with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure.

The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, designing highly secure, scalable, and cost-optimized cloud-native solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architectural Design : Define, design, and document complex, end-to-end cloud architectures (primarily Azure) that meet functional and non-functional requirements (security, performance, high availability, cost optimization).

- Technology Leadership : Lead the selection of appropriate Azure services (Azure Kubernetes Service/AKS, Azure Functions, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Data Factory) and define the best practices for their usage.

- DevOps Integration : Define and implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform or ARM/Bicep for automated, repeatable environment provisioning.

- Design and govern CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions.

- Security & Governance : Ensure all solutions adhere to cloud security best practices, compliance standards, and corporate governance policies (Identity Management with Azure AD/Entra ID, Network Security Groups, Zero Trust principles).

- Modernization : Drive the adoption of modern architectural patterns like Microservices, Serverless Computing, and Event-Driven Architectures.

- Stakeholder Management : Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders (CTO, Product, Security) to communicate the cloud strategy and technical roadmaps.

Required Technical Skills :

- Cloud Platform Expertise : Deep, hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (required), with certifications like Azure Solutions Architect Expert highly preferred.

- Containerization & Orchestration : Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes (AKS), including service mesh and networking concepts.

- Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) : Advanced proficiency with Terraform or Azure native tools (ARM/Bicep).

- Programming/Scripting : Strong scripting skills (Python or PowerShell) and familiarity with a core programming language (eg.NET/C#, Java, Node.js).

- Networking : Deep understanding of cloud networking (VNet, ExpressRoute, Load Balancers, Firewalls) and hybrid cloud connectivity.

- Security : Proven experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM), data encryption, and network security in a cloud environment.

- DevOps Tools : Expertise in CI/CD, version control (Git), and cloud monitoring/logging (Azure Monitor, Splunk/ELK)
