About the Role :
The Cloud Services Expert will be responsible for designing, deploying, managing, and supporting enterprise-level cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
This role requires both strategic vision and hands-on technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and implement Azure cloud architectures including compute, storage, networking, and identity solutions.
- Manage and optimize Azure services like Virtual Machines, Azure App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure SQL, Storage Accounts, Azure Functions, and more.
- Plan and execute cloud migration strategies for on-premise or hybrid workloads.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like ARM templates, Terraform, Bicep, or Ansible.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or related tools.
- Monitor and manage cloud resource usage and costs, optimize workloads for performance and cost-efficiency.
- Ensure security and compliance of cloud resources with best practices and frameworks (e.g.,
Azure Security Center, Azure Policies, RBAC, Key Vault).
- Set up and manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes using native
Azure tools.
- Perform routine health checks, diagnostics, and performance tuning of cloud systems.
- Stay up to date on Azure services, features, and best practices; provide recommendations for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with development, security, and IT teams to ensure infrastructure supports the application lifecycle.
Requirements :
- 5+ years of experience in managing Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services.
- Experience in deploying and managing Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, VPN Gateways, Firewalls, and NSGs.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM, Terraform, or Bicep.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments.
- Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python for automation and orchestration.
- Solid knowledge of identity and access management (Azure AD, RBAC, Conditional Access).
- Experience with monitoring/logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and
Application Insights.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to handle critical incidents and performance issues.
Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with hybrid cloud environments and on-prem to cloud migrations.
- Familiarity with governance frameworks, cost management, and compliance standards (e.g.,
ISO 27001, SOC 2).
- Understanding of network security principles, firewalls, and zero-trust architecture.
- Exposure to multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP).
Education :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical discipline
