Cloud Security Engineer - CISSP/CISM

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Security Engineer to spearhead security initiatives across private cloud platforms (VMware, OpenStack). The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise, a strong understanding of compliance frameworks, and automation proficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement security controls for VMware, OpenStack, and hybrid private cloud environments.

- Harden virtual infrastructure, hypervisors, and orchestration layers.

- Secure network architecture (segmentation, firewall rules, VPNs).

- Implement encryption for data in transit and at rest.

- Manage identity and access control policies.

- Align security posture with ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI-DSS.

- Conduct gap assessments and support audit readiness.

- Maintain documentation for controls, incidents, and remediation.

- Develop scripts and automation for continuous monitoring and alerting.

- Integrate security checks into CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure workflows.

- Utilize Ansible, Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.

Required Qualifications :

- 6-9 years of experience in cloud security engineering or infrastructure security.

- Hands-on experience with VMware, OpenStack, or similar platforms.

- Strong understanding of network security, encryption, and access control.

- Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI-DSS.

- Proficiency in scripting languages for automation and monitoring.

Preferred Skills :

- Exposure to hybrid cloud environments.

- Experience with SIEM tools, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint protection.

- Certifications : CISSP, CISM, or VCP.
