Cloud Security Engineer - AWS

Responsibilities :

- Implement and manage cloud security best practices and services across Azure, AWS, and GCP.

- Demonstrate strong knowledge of virtualization, Docker, containers, and their orchestration challenges.

- Understand and apply network concepts and web-related protocols, including TCP/IP, UDP, IPSec, HTTP, and HTTPS.

- Utilize infrastructure automation tools like Terraform for security implementations.

- Review and understand cloud architecture and security best practices.

- Engage in Security Operations Centre/Incident Management as needed.

- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, escalating issues as necessary.

- Maintain keen attention to detail and demonstrate a curiosity to learn and adopt emerging technologies.

- Hold Associate or Professional-level Cloud certification(s).

- Work independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements :

- Strong understanding of network protocols : TCP/IP, HTTP, IPSec, UDP, HTTPS.

- Proficiency in cloud platforms : AWS (primary), with exposure to Azure and GCP.

- Knowledge of cloud security practices and infrastructure automation tools (e. g., Terraform).

- Familiarity with containers, virtualization, and orchestration.

- Experience in SOC operations and incident management.

- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

- Must have cloud certifications at the Associate/Professional level.

Education : B. E., B. Tech, B. Tech M. Tech (Dual), M. Tech, M. E. in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering from an accredited college or university.
