Cloud Security Architect

Position : Cloud Security Architect / Senior Cloud Security Engineer

Experience Required : 6+ years (with minimum 2+ years in cloud security)

Employment Type : Full-time

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Architect / Senior Engineer with a strong background in Application & Network Security and expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud security frameworks. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that security controls, governance policies, and compliance requirements are embedded into cloud-based solutions and enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities :

Cloud Security Architecture & Design :

- Design and implement secure cloud solutions aligned with security and business

requirements across Azure, AWS, or GCP.

- Define cloud security strategies, frameworks, and standards to safeguard enterprise workloads.

- Conduct architecture design reviews and threat modeling for new solutions and technology adoptions.

Application & Network Security :

- Integrate security practices across the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC).

- Implement IAM (Identity & Access Management), network segmentation, data protection, and

key management solutions for cloud environments.

- Ensure adherence to compliance frameworks and security best practices.

Risk Management & Security Assessments :

- Conduct cloud security risk assessments, gap analysis, and vulnerability assessments.

- Recommend and implement mitigations for identified risks in line with organizational

standards and regulatory requirements.

- Lead security governance and control processes, including audits and compliance checks.

Cloud Security Operations :

- Implement and optimize security monitoring tools, including SIEM and CASB solutions, for

real-time threat detection and response.

- Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to operationalize cloud security practices and incident response processes.

Collaboration & Leadership :

- Present technical security strategies and risk assessments to senior leadership and diverse

stakeholders.

- Work as part of cross-functional teams (cloud, IT, DevOps, application teams) to integrate

security solutions seamlessly.

- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance to improve cloud security maturity.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 6+ years of overall experience in Application & Network Security.

- Expertise in threat modeling, risk assessments, and security architecture design.

- Ability to present complex security topics to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Strong problem-solving skills and experience in making critical security decisions under pressure.

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Familiarity with enterprise application architecture and troubleshooting.

- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).

- Experience with DevSecOps practices and automation of security controls.
