Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Practitioner with expertise in Watson Knowledge Catalog (WKC). This role focuses on metadata management, business glossary, data governance, and ensuring high-quality data catalog operations. The candidate should have strong knowledge of WKC functionality, integration, and data governance frameworks, along with excellent collaboration skills to work with global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

Application & Data Governance :

- Create, import, migrate, and manage assets, metadata, attributes, and business glossaries in WKC.

- Define and manage categories, terms, governance policies, and data quality rules.

- Set up and troubleshoot connections (IGC, IMAM, and other WKC integrations).

- Support data discovery, lineage administration, and stewardship assignment.

Data Quality & Integration :

- Manage and execute data quality rules and validation processes in WKC.

- Debug issues related to data quality, rule execution, imports, and integrations.

- Support WKC integration with CP4D, IA projects, and external data sources.

Support & Collaboration :

- Provide developer and user support for WKC onboarding and usage.

- Collaborate with IS and business teams to simplify metadata and governance processes.

- Work with stewards and governance stakeholders to ensure compliance.

Documentation & Standards :

- Develop and maintain WKC-specific operational guidelines and best practices.

- Ensure metadata standards and governance policies are documented and updated.
