Role Overview :

We are looking for a Senior Lead Cloud Platform Development Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in AWS Cloud, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud automation. The role will lead the design and development of scalable, secure, governed, and reusable AWS cloud platforms while providing technical leadership to engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities/KRA :

- Lead AWS cloud platform architecture and engineering initiatives across enterprise environments.

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS CDK, Terraform, Python, and Boto3.

- Build and manage AWS Landing Zones, cloud governance, account structures, security controls, and automation frameworks.

- Develop reusable cloud platforms, frameworks, accelerators, and automation solutions for engineering teams.

- Drive cloud modernization initiatives and improve platform scalability, reliability, security, and operational efficiency.

- Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards and reusable modules.

- Lead DevOps and CI/CD initiatives supporting automated infrastructure and application delivery.

- Establish cloud architecture patterns, engineering standards, and best practices.

- Identify opportunities to automate manual cloud operations and improve developer productivity.

- Ensure AWS platforms meet enterprise requirements for security, compliance, resilience, availability, and cost optimization.

- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to cloud and platform engineering teams.

- Collaborate with architecture, security, DevOps, application, and business stakeholders.

- Troubleshoot complex cloud platform and infrastructure issues and drive root-cause resolution.

- Contribute to technical roadmaps, architecture decisions, and cloud transformation initiatives.

Required Skills:

- 11 - 13 years of overall IT/software engineering experience.

- 6+ years of hands-on AWS Cloud experience.

- Strong hands-on experience with Python and Boto3.

- Strong experience with AWS CDK and Terraform.

- Experience designing and managing AWS Landing Zones.

- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

- Strong understanding of Cloud Architecture and Platform Engineering.

- Hands-on experience with DevOps and CI/CD.

- Experience designing secure, scalable, resilient, and highly available AWS environments.

- Strong technical leadership, stakeholder management, and mentoring skills.

Good to Have :

- AWS Solutions Architect certification.

- TypeScript knowledge.

- Experience with enterprise cloud governance and modernization programs.

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
