Job Description :

We are looking for a Cloud Operations Support Engineer with expertise in AWS and foundational knowledge of Azure Cloud. The ideal candidate will primarily focus on supporting AWS cloud infrastructures, including EKS, serverless architectures, and various AWS services like Cognito, AppStream, and Workspaces. The role also requires foundational knowledge of Azure Cloud services including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings

Roles & Responsibilities :

Primary Skills :

- AWS Cloud infrastructure (EC2, EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, SNS, SQS, SES)

- Linux Administration

- Shell Scripting Bash / Python / Helm / Ansible

- AWS Cognito user management & authentication

- AppStream & AWS Workspaces

- CloudWatch & CloudTrail Monitoring & Incident Management

- Networking TCP/IP, IP Routing, NAT, Firewalls

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Good to Have Skills :

- Azure IaaS (Azure VMs, Azure Virtual Networks, Azure Load Balancer)

- Azure PaaS (Azure App Services, Azure AKS, Azure Functions)

- Azure SaaS (Office 365, Dynamics 365, Azure SQL Database)

- Basic knowledge of CI/CD GitHub / GitLab / GitCLI

- Basic knowledge of web servers (Apache, NGINX, IIS)

- Familiarity with Terraform / CloudFormation

Key Responsibilities :

AWS Cloud Operations Support :

- Manage and optimize AWS EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, and other AWS services

- Support and troubleshoot serverless and monolithic architectures on AWS

- Work with AWS Cognito for user management and authentication

- Manage and support AppStream and AWS Workspaces for virtual desktop infrastructure

Automation & Scripting :

- Write and maintain Python, Helm, and Ansible scripts for cloud automation

- Support automation of AWS service deployments using CloudFormation / Terraform

Monitoring & Incident Management :

- Set up and manage CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and other AWS monitoring tools

- Participate in incident response and troubleshooting of production issues

Linux & Windows Administration :

- Administer RHEL Linux servers including Patch Management, LVM, Linux Firewall, Route Tables

- Support Windows server administration on AWS

Security :

- Assist in implementing security policies and controls (CIS, malware, anti-virus, secret management)

- Basic understanding of OS hardening techniques and transport layer security (SSL, TLS)
