Job Description :

- The role will be a manager within the Product Engineering CloudOps Organization which is responsible for engineering, implementing, and managing the technology required to run a cloud-based technology across the enterprise.

- Responsible for overseeing work assigned to the DevOps Team during Agile planning cycles

- Responsible for overseeing developers and operations engineers to create and maintain the cloud infrastructure in a hybrid and multi-cloud environment

- Contribute to strategic planning for cloud solutions

- Develops and maintains service capacity forecasts, responsible for the day-to-day capacity and proactive management of services.

- Proactively monitors cloud-based service offerings as they move through development, continuous integration, and pre-production, in addition to production itself.

Key Responsibilities :

- Responsible for coaching and managing a growing global cloud and DevOps team

- Manage the implementation of successful DevOps solutions in a AWS Cloud environment

- Manage the SCRUM process for DevOps and Cloud based teams.

- Responsible for aligning objectives and roadmaps with Agile planning

- Responsible for maintaining technical relevance as a technical manager

- Ideal candidate should have 9+ years of prior experience in developing automation with DevOps tools for IT

infrastructure such as : network, server, hypervisor, IaaS, etc. within AWS.

- Explore and evaluate new technologies and solutions to push capabilities forward, getting ahead of our business needs, getting people incentivized to transform, innovate and continually improve.

- Ensure the quality and performance of the platform through fully automated functional and performance testing.

- Ensure deployment framework is tightly integrated across all workstreams and follows standard processes.

- Responsible for training employees on all aspects of job (technical and admin)

- Write and maintain technical documentation and requirements related to DevOps technologies

- Monitor cloud consumption to detect, investigate, and escalate anomalies and unplanned spikes.

- Responsible for maintaining and forecasting a departmental budget within an acceptable variance

- Responsible for tracking and forecasting toolset utilization and capacity

- Responsible for managing a follow-up to the sun engineering and operations team.

Minimum Education Required :

- Bachelors Degree in technology field Technical

Certifications highly preferred :

- Public Cloud Certification(s), DevOps tools certification(s)

Years And Type Of Experience Required :

- Experience at utilizing toolsets such as : Terraform, Jenkins.

- Have detailed experience in understanding the Security footprint of the Enterprise Cloud Infrastructure.

- A minimum of 3 years experience in hands-on Cloud Administration

- A minimum of 2 years experience managing Cloud Operations teams.

- Experience designing DevOps pipelines and architecture

- Ability to participate in fast-paced DevOps and Engineering teams within Scrum agile processes

- Experience consulting with business process and functional unit owners

- Basic knowledge of querying and organizing data

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

- Motivated, results-oriented self-starter, curious and inquisitive

- Must be capable of performing effective touch-point/counseling with team members. Experience mentoring and coaching a small to medium sized team
