Cloud Operations Engineer - IAC Terraform

Position : Azure Cloud Engineer

Experience: 6+ Years

Role and Responsibilities :

- The Cloud Engineer's daily duties involve designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure using automation and scripting tools. Regular activities include monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with teams to integrate cloud solutions.

- Design and deploy cloud infrastructures using Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks (e.g., Terraform).

- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud resources (AWS, Azure, M365, GCP) on a routine basis.

- Monitor and troubleshoot Windows and Linux Virtual Machines

- Manage Systems as a Service (Atlassian, Jira Service Management, & VEAM Backup and Recovery for Azure)

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in sprint planning and deployment reviews.

- Ensure cloud security and compliance standards are met through daily checks.

Qualifications & Education Requirements:

- 2+ years of experience deploying and administering Cloud Compute environments.

- 2+ years of experience managing Active Directory, EntraID, M365 and Azure Environments.

- 2+ years of experience administering and troubleshooting Linux and Windows Server virtual machines.

- Experience managing VMware vCenter/vSphere and ESXi.

- Strong compute network skills with DHCP, DNS, and TCP/IP.

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field with 2-5 years of cloud experience preferred.

- Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect or Azure Fundamentals are highly valued.

- Strong scripting skills and proficiency in cloud automation.

- Knowledge of cloud cost management and security best practices.

Preferences :

- Experience with healthcare or PBM-related cloud projects is advantageous.

- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) is a plus
