About the Role :

We are looking for a hands-on, self-driven Cloud Operations Engineer with expertise in Azure Cloud Infrastructure and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, reliability, and scalability of our Azure-based IoT backend systems.

You will collaborate with product and development teams to streamline CI/CD processes, enhance observability, and implement automation for improved cloud efficiency and performance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Build, operate, and optimize Azure IoT backend infrastructure, including :

- AKS, MySQL, Cosmos DB, Azure WAF, Azure Application Gateway, Azure Front Door, Azure Batch, Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, Prometheus, Grafana, and Vnets.

- Ensure system performance, availability, security, and cost efficiency through proactive monitoring and tuning.

- Implement best practices for automation, observability, and resilience.

- Collaborate with DevOps and product teams to ensure seamless deployments and incident management.

- Contribute to Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Azure DevOps / Jenkins.

- Perform vulnerability updates and manage non-Azure-managed system components.

- Drive improvements in alerting, self-healing mechanisms, and cloud governance.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Minimum 8 years of IT experience with strong expertise in Azure Cloud Infrastructure and AKS.

Hands-on experience in :

- AKS (GitOps, ArgoCD, Istio)

- MySQL, Cosmos DB

- Azure WAF, Application Gateway, Front Door

- Azure Batch, Storage Accounts, VMs

- Prometheus, Grafana, Vnets

- Experience in CI/CD (Azure DevOps, Jenkins) and automation frameworks.

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

- Bachelors degree in Engineering (B.E/B.Tech).
