Description :

- Design, implement, and manage enterprise LAN/WAN networks across co-location data centers and cloud environments.

- Work with virtualized network technologies including Hyper-V networking.

- Configure and troubleshoot wired/wireless networks, voice, video, and unified communication systems.

- Maintain and optimize enterprise routing and switching infrastructure, including configuration, monitoring, and performance tuning.

- Configure and administer firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and DMZ environments for secure external access to single-tenant applications.

- Monitor, analyze, and resolve network issues using modern network administration and debugging tools.

- Support Azure cloud networking, hybrid connectivity, and application integration across virtualized compute platforms.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure resilient, secure, and scalable network architecture.

- Implement automation and IaC solutions using tools such as Terraform.

- Maintain documentation for network topology, configurations, and procedures.

What You Will Bring :

Education & Experience :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or 58 years of equivalent work experience.

- 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking and cloud network engineering.

Technical Skills & Expertise :

Networking & Data Centers :

- Strong experience with co-location data center networking and virtualized environments (Hyper-V).

- Deep knowledge of LAN/WAN design, router/switch configuration, and troubleshooting.

- Experience with wired and wireless infrastructure supporting data, voice, and video traffic.

Routing Technologies :

- Expertise in : EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, HSRP/VRRP, VRF, route redistribution, EVPN.

- Routing hardware experience with Cisco ASR, ISR, Juniper MX.

Switching Technologies :

- Knowledge of :

Leaf/Spine Architecture, STP, PVST, RPVST, 802.1q, VLAN, VTP, OTV, VXLAN, CDP, LLDP, vPC, VDC, LACP, VSS, QoS, FCoE, NPV

Ethernet technologies : Fast/Gigabit/10Gigabit

Security : PoE, Port Security, SPAN

Switching hardware : Cisco Catalyst, Cisco Nexus, Juniper, Cumulus, Ruckus.

Cloud & Azure Networking :

- Familiarity with Azure networking concepts, including : VNets, Subnets, Azure NSG, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, Load Balancer

- Understanding of hybrid and multi-cloud network architectures.

Firewall & Security :

- Expertise with :

Access lists, NAT, PAT, VPN, IPSec, IDS/IPS, DMZ, active/standby failover

- Palo Alto solutions : PAN-OS, WildFire, Panorama, User-ID, GlobalProtect

- Firewall hardware : Palo Alto.

Load Balancers :

- Experience with : F5 Big-IP LTM, VIP, Pools, SNAT, SSL certificates, persistence, custom health checks

- F5 technologies : iRules, iApp, vCMP

Wireless :

- Wireless technologies and hardware : Cisco WAPs, Cisco 5508 WLC, Ruckus/CommScope

Network Tools & Automation :

- Tools : Python, SNMP, NetFlow, SolarWinds Orion, Wireshark, syslog-ng, Visio

- Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) : Terraform

Network Services :

- Working knowledge of : SMTP, DNS, SSH, NTP, DHCP, RADIUS, LDAP, Cisco ACS, TACACS+, Active Directory

Operating Systems :

- Experience with : Cisco IOS, Cisco NX-OS, Junos, PAN-OS, Hyper-V, Apstra
