Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Network Engineer to design, implement, and support secure, scalable, and highly available network solutions in a cloud and hybrid environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong networking fundamentals along with hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure networking services, supporting enterprise workloads and ensuring reliable connectivity between on-premises and cloud infrastructure.

This role requires close collaboration with cloud, security, and DevOps teams to deliver robust networking solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

Cloud & Network Design :

- Design, implement, and manage Azure-based network architectures for enterprise applications.

- Configure and maintain Azure networking components including Virtual Networks (VNet), Network Security Groups (NSG), Load Balancer, and Application Gateway.

- Support high availability, scalability, and performance requirements for cloud workloads.

Hybrid Connectivity :

- Design and manage hybrid cloud connectivity between on-premises data centers and Azure.

- Configure and support VPN, routing, and secure connectivity solutions.

- Troubleshoot connectivity issues across hybrid environments and ensure seamless communication.

Network Operations & Troubleshooting :

- Monitor Azure network infrastructure using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

- Identify and resolve network-related incidents and performance bottlenecks.

- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.

Security & Best Practices :

- Implement network security controls following industry best practices.

- Apply security concepts such as firewalls, routing policies, segmentation, and access controls.

- Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with organizational security standards.

Automation & Optimization :

- Contribute to network automation initiatives using PowerShell, ARM templates, or Terraform.

- Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to improve consistency and deployment efficiency.

- Assist in integrating network configurations within DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.

Collaboration & Communication :

- Work closely with cloud architects, application teams, and operations teams to deliver end-to-end network solutions.

- Provide clear documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to support project delivery and operational excellence.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in networking roles.

- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, routing, and firewalls.

- Proven experience with Azure networking services :

1. Virtual Networks (VNet)

2. Network Security Groups (NSG)

3. Azure Load Balancer

4. Azure Application Gateway

- Experience with hybrid cloud architectures and on-premises to Azure connectivity.

- Hands-on exposure to Azure monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

- Solid understanding of network security principles and best practices.

- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Good-to-Have / Preferred Skills :

- Azure certifications such as AZ-104 (Azure Administrator) or AZ-305 (Azure Solutions Architect Expert).

- Experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools including PowerShell, ARM, and Terraform.

- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD environments.

- Experience working in large-scale enterprise or multi-cloud environments.
