The Role :

As a Cloud Native Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, and deploying cloud-native solutions that enable scalable, secure, and efficient application development. You will leverage AWS servicesparticularly Amazon Connect, Amazon Lex, Lambda, and API Gatewaywhile guiding teams and stakeholders through the adoption of best practices in cloud architecture. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership, ensuring delivery excellence and alignment with business goals.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and guide a team of engineers to design, build, and deploy cloud-native solutions using AWS services.

- Own project planning, resource allocation, and delivery management while ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.

- Architect scalable and secure solutions using Amazon Connect, Amazon Lex, AWS Lambda, and API Gateway.

- Act as the primary technical and delivery contact, collaborating with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.

- Promote and enforce best practices in cloud architecture, including the AWS Well-Architected Framework.

- Drive team performance through coaching, mentoring, and regular performance reviews.

- Ensure continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines are implemented and champion DevOps practices.

- Oversee Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementation using Terraform or similar tools.

Skills Required :

Must-Have Skills :

- Deep expertise with Amazon Connect, Amazon Lex, AWS Lambda, and API Gateway

- Proficiency in at least one programming language : Python, Node.js, or Java

- Proven leadership experience managing cloud/DevOps teams

- Strong understanding of serverless architecture, microservices, and cloud-native design patterns

- Excellent communication, planning, and stakeholder management skills

Good to Have Skills :

- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

- Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices

- Strong grasp of cloud-native architecture principles

- Hands-on experience in deploying cloud-native applications

Professional & Technical Requirements :

- Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure management

- In-depth understanding of the AWS Well-Architected Framework

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional) Mandatory

- Additional AWS specialty certifications Preferred

Qualifications & Experience :

- Minimum 15 years of full-time education.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in Amazon Connect and AWS cloud solutions

- Minimum 5 years overall relevant experience in cloud-native engineering.
