Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - AWS

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, and other services.

- Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) best practices.

- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.

- Write automation scripts in Python, Bash, or PowerShell to support operational tasks.

- Ensure networking, security, and cloud architecture best practices are followed.

- Monitor infrastructure performance using tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK, and address operational issues.

- Manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.

- Handle multi-account AWS environments and utilize AWS Control Tower for governance.

- Implement and maintain configuration management using Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or equivalent tools.

- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

- Provide guidance on cloud architecture and infrastructure decisions across projects.

Required Skills & Competencies :

- 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and cloud engineering.

- 5+ years of hands-on AWS experience with core and advanced services.

- Expert in Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles.

- Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).

- Proficiency in scripting languages : Python, Bash, PowerShell.

- Solid understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture best practices.

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK).

- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Certifications & Preferred Qualifications :

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or equivalent.

- HashiCorp Certified : Terraform Associate.

- Experience managing multi-account AWS environments.

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
