As a Cloud Engineer, you will have to perform the day-to-day operation and support activities related to Cluster deployment, Application deployment, troubleshooting issues related to K8s and Linux.

- Trouble shooting issues related to networking in Cloud.

- This may involve Planning, Design, Installation of cluster, validating fixes related to K8s and Linux.

- Performing K8s and Linux certification for any new release of OS and K8s.

Key Responsibilities :

- Strong knowledge of Linux OS (CentOS, Red Hat, RockyLinux).

- Shell scripting (bash, Python, etc.)

- System administration tasks : User management, permissions, disk management.

- Networking basics and troubleshooting (iptables, netstat, ssh).

- Service management (systemd, init.d).

- Package management (yum, apt).

- Security (SELinux, firewalls).

- Automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).

- Cloud and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).

- Basic programming (Python, Perl) helpful.

- Kubernetes Administration.

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities) :

- Should have knowledge on Operating system (Linux) configuration, package management, startup and troubleshooting.

- Exposure on infrastructure automation and container orchestration tools Docker(MUST), Kubernetes(MUST), Terraform, Helm etc.

- Good understanding of concepts related to computer architecture, Operating System and programming practices and principles.

- Exposure in service Mesh e. Istio.

- Deep working knowledge on Linux servers and networking.

- Deploy and Manage Virtual Machines.

- Understanding of KVMs.

- Design and implementing solutions to leverage a Kubernetes cluster.

- Experience in IDM,LDAP.

- Build tools and automation to improve system's observability, availability, reliability.

- Configuration management: use Chef and Ansible Terraform to effectively manage our Infrastructure.

- Deploying, monitoring, and managing applications in a Kubernetes environment.

- Strong debugging/troubleshooting skills.

- Experience in scripting languages : Shell, Python, Perl.

- CKA or CKAD and Linux Certifications RHCE, RHCSA preferred.

- Exposure in RHEL/Rocky Linux.

Qualifications Requirements :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science/IT Engineering, or any equivalent degree.

- +5 years of professional experience in Lab/Datacenter Cloud operation activities.

- Ability to communicate written and verbally English.

- German is a plus.

- Certification to work in LAB Facility.
