Job Description
Job Title : Senior GCP Cloud Engineer/Lead.
Location : Remote.
Type : Full-Time with NTT Data India Services.
Job Description :
Managing cloud environments considering the security aspects. Good problem-solving skills with the ability to see and solve issues quickly. Strong Interpersonal skills with clear and precise verbal and written communication.
Skills :
Must have's :
- 6+ years' relevant experience in designing and developing Google cloud infrastructure solutions (minimum 3+ yrs active in GCP, recently).
- Cloud Provider : Good understanding and hands on for GCP with exposure to services like (at least 7) : Cloud Identity & Identity and Access Management, Role Based Access Control RBAC, Compute Engine, Storage (Cloud Storage, Persistent Disks, Cloud storage-Nearline or Coldline, Cloud File store etc), VPC, Google Load Balancer, Cloud Interconnect, Google Domains, Cloud DNS, Cloud Content Delivery Network, Cloud pub-sub, Stackdriver etc.
- Aware and experience with Landing Zone Concept with google cloud services (with hub-spoke arch).
- SCM tools : Git, Bitbucket, GitLab etc
- Basic understanding of CI environment for code using Jenkins / GitHub Actions/ GitLab / Azure Devops / Cloud Build-Cloud Deploy (at least one).
- Hands on of Bash Shell Scripting.
- Experience and good Understanding of Terraform scripting.
- Certification : Associate Cloud Engineer - GCP.
- Monitoring and Event Management (Cloud Monitoring, Grafana, Prometheus).
Nice to have :
- Containerization : Good Docker containerization skills and Kubernetes Orchestration (GKE) hands on.
- Experience with Anthos.
- Experience on SQL and NoSQL Database.
- Experience on app migration to cloud would be addon.
