Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage highly available, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with major cloud platforms and will play a key role in supporting modern, cloud-native applications in a fast-paced onsite environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Cloud Infrastructure & Architecture :

- Design, deploy, and manage scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure using AWS / Azure / GCP.

- Architect cloud solutions following best practices for reliability, performance, and cost optimization.

- Manage compute, storage, networking, and database services.

Automation & CI/CD :

- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates, or equivalent.

- Develop and maintain scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Security & Compliance :

- Implement cloud security best practices, including IAM, network security groups, encryption, and secrets management.

- Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and industry standards.

- Manage backup strategies, disaster recovery plans, and business continuity.

Monitoring & Performance Optimization :

- Set up and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools like CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.

- Troubleshoot infrastructure and application performance issues.

- Optimize cloud resource usage to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

Troubleshooting & Operations :

- Diagnose and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, deployments, networking, and security.

- Support production systems and ensure minimal downtime.

- Work closely with development, DevOps, and security teams to resolve incidents.

Required Skills & Expertise :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering or infrastructure roles

- Strong expertise in AWS / Azure / GCP (at least one primary cloud platform)

Experience with :

- Virtual machines, containers, Kubernetes

- Load balancers, VPC/VNet, DNS, firewalls

- Managed databases and storage services

- Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and automation

- Hands-on scripting experience (Python / Bash / PowerShell)

- Strong understanding of high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance

Soft Skills & Work Environment :

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

- Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

- Strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration

- Proactive mindset with ownership of cloud systems

Nice to Have :

- Multi-cloud exposure (AWS + Azure/GCP)

- Kubernetes / Docker experience

- DevOps or SRE background

- Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP Associate or Professional)
