Cloud Engineer - IAC Terraform

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based infrastructure and services.

- Monitor and maintain cloud environments to ensure performance, availability, and cost-efficiency.

- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues, including network, compute, and storage services.

- Implement and enforce cloud security best practices and protocols.

- Automate infrastructure and workflows using scripting and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools.

- Collaborate with software development teams to support CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.

- Ensure backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions are in place and tested.

- Stay up to date with the latest cloud technologies and recommend improvements.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Hands-on experience in cloud computing and infrastructure management (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Proficiency in Linux-based systems and database management (SQL/NoSQL).

- Background in software development and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools, version control systems (Git), and infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Knowledge of cloud security practices and compliance requirements is a plus.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) :

- Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator Associate).

- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Exposure to monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).

- Familiarity with DevOps practices
