Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled GCP Cloud Engineer with 5 - 7 years of experience. This role involves designing, securing, and maintaining Google Cloud infrastructure while driving automation and reliability practices across the organization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in IAM, Networking, and GCS bucket permissions, along with strong troubleshooting and automation skills.

Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and maintain scalable GCP infrastructure (Compute, Storage, Networking, Databases).

- Implement and manage IAM roles, service accounts, and policies for secure access.

- Configure and optimize VPCs, subnets, firewalls, load balancers, and interconnects.

- Manage and secure Google Cloud Storage (GCS) buckets, permissions, and lifecycle rules.

- Apply SRE principles (SLIs, SLOs, automation, monitoring, incident management).

- Automate deployments and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent IaC tools.

- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable product delivery.

- Monitor system performance, cost optimization, and security compliance.

- Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues, driving root cause analysis and permanent fixes.

- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to scale platforms efficiently.

Requirements :

- 5 - 7 years of overall IT experience, with 2+ years in GCP-focused roles.

- Strong expertise in GCP IAM, Networking, and GCS storage management.

- Hands-on experience with Terraform (or equivalent IaC).

- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, or Go).

- Solid background in Linux/Unix system administration.

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk).

- Strong understanding of DevOps/SRE principles.

- GCP Certification (Associate or Professional) is preferred.
