Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly experienced Cloud Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud services and a proven track record in modern DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices.

This role demands technical leadership, end-to-end cloud solution ownership, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud architectures.

The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in driving cloud transformation, managing multi-environment deployments, and mentoring the engineering team to follow best practices in cloud-native application development and operations.

Key Responsibilities :

Cloud Infrastructure Management :

- Deploy, configure, and manage Azure resources, including Azure WebApps, Key Vault, Blob and File Storage, Virtual Networks, and Private Endpoints for secure and optimized workloads.

Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) :

- Design and implement reusable IaC templates using Terraform, ensuring consistent, automated, and version-controlled deployments across development, staging, and production environments.

Kubernetes & API Management :

- Deploy, manage, and optimize Kubernetes clusters (AKS) for containerized workloads.

- Administer Azure API Management services for secure and efficient API publishing and consumption.

Identity & Access Management :

- Integrate Azure Entra ID with enterprise applications to enforce secure identity management, Single Sign-On (SSO), and multi-factor authentication (MFA).

Team Leadership & Collaboration :

- Lead a technical team of 46 engineers, providing code reviews, architectural guidance, and fostering a DevOps-first culture.

- Act as a bridge between development, operations, and business stakeholders.

Automation & Backend Development :

- Develop automation scripts in Bash and Python, leveraging FastAPI for building backend services and APIs.

Data & Analytics Support :

- Work with SQL for database queries, transformations, and performance tuning.

- Collaborate with BI teams; familiarity with Power BI is a plus.

Continuous Integration & Deployment :

- Build and manage Azure DevOps pipelines, enabling automated builds, testing, security scanning, and deployment workflows.

Security & Compliance :

- Ensure all cloud environments adhere to enterprise security standards, compliance requirements, and follow best practices for backup, monitoring, and disaster recovery.

Skills & Requirements :

Cloud Expertise :

- 8 - 12 years of relevant experience with at least 5+ years in designing and managing Azure cloud environments.

Technical Skills :

- Strong proficiency in Terraform for IaC.

- Experience in Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), and microservices-based architectures.

- Hands-on experience with Bash scripting, Python programming, and FastAPI backend development.

- Solid SQL skills for data manipulation and analytics.

DevOps Practices :

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, infrastructure monitoring, and incident management.

Good to Have :

- Experience with Power BI for reporting and dashboards.

Certifications :

- Azure DevOps Engineer certification is highly preferred
