Cloud Engineer - AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team.

As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure to support scalable and secure applications and services. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including software development, DevOps, and IT security to ensure optimal cloud performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

Cloud Infrastructure Design & Implementation :

- Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.

- Architect and build highly available and fault-tolerant systems using best practices.

- Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and configuration for consistency and scalability.

Operations, Monitoring & Maintenance :

- Implement proactive measures to prevent outages and improve uptime.

- Manage system backups, disaster recovery strategies, and incident response procedures.

Security & Compliance :

- Implement cloud security policies, identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and secure networking practices.

- Perform regular audits and vulnerability assessments.

Collaboration & Support :

- Work with development and DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and testing in cloud environments.

- Troubleshoot complex cloud-related issues and resolve them promptly.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Expertise in one or more major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

- Strong knowledge of networking concepts, cloud security, and system administration.

- Experience with Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes or ECS.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).

- Hands-on experience with logging and monitoring tools.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments.

- Exposure to serverless architectures (Lambda, Azure Functions, etc.)

- Knowledge of cost optimization strategies in cloud environments
