Cloud Engineer - AWS

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and deploy secure and scalable infrastructure solutions on AWS.

- Manage networking components such as VPCs, subnets, route tables, NAT gateways, and ensure proper network segmentation.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK.

- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD.

- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and third-party tools such as Datadog or Prometheus.

- Implement IAM roles and policies, ensuring least-privilege access and adherence to security best practices.

- Support compliance requirements such as ISO, SOC2, GDPR, or HIPAA.

- Plan and implement backup, disaster recovery, and failover strategies.

- Identify and implement cost optimization strategies across AWS environments.

- Perform regular maintenance, patching, and upgrades of cloud resources.

- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to support cloud-native applications.

Requirements :

- 6-7 years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.

- Strong expertise in core AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, VPC, Route 53, IAM, CloudWatch, and CloudFormation.

- Good understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, VPN, load balancing, and firewalls.

- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

- Familiarity with Linux system administration and shell scripting.

- Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems like Git.

- Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes/EKS.

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with clear communication abilities.

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer are an advantage.
