Job Overview :

We are looking for a skilled OCI Cloud Build Engineer who will be responsible for migrating, building, and automating cloud infrastructure and deployment processes on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud automation, Terraform scripting, and Python-based automation, along with exposure to CI/CD and test frameworks.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Analyze existing Terraform scripts and test automation scripts used in AWS environments and port/customize them for OCI.

- Set up products on OCI and validate their functionalities using automation scripts.

- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform modules, particularly for OCI.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment, configuration, and automation of cloud infrastructure.

- Implement configuration management using Ansible or similar tools.

- Work with test automation frameworks like Robot Framework to write and maintain automation scripts, keywords, and suites.

- Ensure system scalability, reliability, and security by following cloud best practices.

- Participate in troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization of deployed solutions.

Technical Expertise Required :

- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure; hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) preferred.

- Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.

- Expertise in Terraform and Terraform modules, particularly for OCI.

- Experience with Ansible or similar configuration management tools.

- Familiarity with Test Automation Frameworks like Robot Framework (creating and maintaining test suites and scripts).

- Understanding of network concepts, including L2/L3/L7 layers, ACLs, and IP filtering rules (nice to have).

- Good knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration with automation tools.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- OCI Certification (preferred but not mandatory).

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
