Cloud Automation Engineer - Application Migration

Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Cloud Automation Engineer - Application Migration to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for automating cloud infrastructure provisioning, optimizing deployment pipelines, and supporting the seamless migration of applications to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

You will work closely with application owners, cloud architects, and DevOps teams to ensure scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, ARM templates, or CloudFormation.

- Support end-to-end application migration from on-premises or other platforms to cloud environments.

- Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to assess application readiness and define migration strategies.

- Develop automated CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and migration validation.

- Ensure compliance with cloud governance, security, and best practices.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud environments for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.

- Document automation processes, configurations, and migration workflows.

Required Qualifications :

- 4+ years of experience in cloud engineering or infrastructure automation roles.

- Strong hands-on experience with one or more cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

- Experience in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

- Familiarity with application migration methodologies (rehost, replatform, refactor).

- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).

- Solid understanding of networking, security, and identity management in the cloud
