Cloud Automation Engineer - Application Migration

Responsibilities :

- Cloud migrations are more than lift and shift, focus more on automation, and application-level migration.

- Test and validate different use cases for Lift and shift, including but not limited to various OS flavors, drivers, and LVMS.

- Comfortable with Linux / Unix environments or PowerShell scripting.

- Able to manage Linux packages and package repos.

- List of Linux Operating systems - RHEL/CentOS/Oracle Linux 5 and above, Debian/Ubuntu 14.04 and above.

- Windows administration with 2008 and above.

Requirements :

- Minimum 4 years of experience on various cloud platforms.

- Good understanding of OCI, GCP & Azure services and offers.

- Able to create architecture/technical design for different types of workloads on AWS.

- Able to create migration plans for applications while working with app owners.

- Execute the migration.

- Strong fundamentals and troubleshooting in Networking, Compute, Storage, and Security.

- Previous experience in application migration.

- Understanding of security aspects of AWS, OCI, GCP & Azure.

- Exposure to Front-end and Backend Tech stack.

- Prior Development experience in front-end and back-end technologies.
