Cloud Architect - Migration & Modernization

We're looking for an experienced Cloud Architect to join our team in Trivandrum. Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, planning, and execution of cloud migration and modernization projects.

- Architect scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions across various platforms, with a preference for AWS, Azure, and GCP.

- Provide expert guidance on application transformation initiatives, helping teams refactor and re-platform applications for cloud-native environments.

- Leverage a strong foundation in IT infrastructure, networking, and system architecture to inform cloud designs and implementations.

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and security, to guide architectural decisions and ensure successful project delivery.

- Evaluate and recommend cloud-native services and technologies to optimize performance, cost, and operational efficiency.

- Integrate cloud security frameworks and best practices into all architectural designs to ensure data protection and compliance.

- Develop and implement cost optimization strategies for cloud resources without compromising performance or reliability.

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams on cloud best practices and new technologies.

- Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends to continuously evolve our cloud strategy.

Requirements :

- 9+ years of experience in IT with a proven track record as a Cloud Architect or similar role.

- Proven experience in leading and executing cloud migration and modernization projects.

- Strong foundation in IT infrastructure, networking, and system architecture.

- Extensive experience leading application transformation initiatives across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP preferred).

- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and guide architectural decisions.

- Familiarity with various cloud-native services, security frameworks, and cost optimization strategies.

- Demonstrated ability to architect scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions aligned with business needs.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
