Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

- CAP Application Development : Lead the design and development of enterprise-grade applications using the Cloud Application Programming (CAP) framework.

- Microservices & Backend : Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and business logic using a CAP-supported language (e.g., Node.js or Java).

- Database Integration : Design and implement robust data models and services, integrating with databases such as SAP HANA and other relevant data stores.

- API & Service Design : Develop secure and efficient OData and RESTful services for frontend consumption and integration with other systems.

- Cloud-Native Architecture : Apply principles of cloud-native development to build scalable, resilient, and maintainable applications.

- Collaboration & Quality : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including solution architects, frontend developers, and business analysts, to ensure solutions meet business requirements.

- Full Development Lifecycle : Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirement gathering and design to deployment and maintenance.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Experience : 7-10 years of professional experience in software development.

- CAP Framework : Strong hands-on experience and deep knowledge of the Cloud Application Programming (CAP) framework.

- Programming Language : Proficiency in a CAP-supported programming language such as Node.js/JavaScript or Java.

- Cloud Platform : Experience with developing and deploying applications on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

- Database : Hands-on experience with databases like SAP HANA and a solid understanding of data modeling.

- API Protocols : Expertise in developing services using OData and REST protocols.

- DevOps : Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD practices.

- Problem-Solving : Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
