Cloud Application Architect - AWS Services

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Application Architect to lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-native applications.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in backend and frontend development, cloud infrastructure (AWS), and modern DevOps practices.

You will play a critical role in architecting business-critical solutions, mentoring teams, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs and microservices architectures optimized for AWS cloud environments.

- Lead cloud infrastructure design and deployment leveraging AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, Glue, EKS, SQS, and SNS.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, developers, QA, and DevOps to deliver end-to-end solutions.

- Drive best practices for code quality, testing, automation, and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Terraform.

- Define database architecture and optimize database queries for SQL Server, Sybase, and PostgreSQL environments.

- Lead application security initiatives and ensure compliance with industry standards.

- Mentor and guide development teams on architectural patterns, coding standards, and cloud-native best practices.

- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and translate business needs into technical solutions.

- Manage application lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.

- Promote innovation by researching and adopting emerging cloud technologies and tools.

- Handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines while maintaining high quality and attention to detail.

Technical Skills :

- Frontend : Proficiency in Angular (version 8 or higher), JavaScript, HTML5, CSS.

- Cloud : Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, Glue, EKS, SQS, SNS).

- Databases : Working knowledge of SQL Server, Sybase, PostgreSQL.

- Testing : Experience with MSTest, tSQLt, and behavior-driven development (BDD) tools such as Cucumber and Mocha.

- CI/CD : Skilled in setting up and managing pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
