Job Title : GCP Administrator & Support Engineer.
Location : PUNE/HYDERABAD.
Type : Full-Time.
Experience : 5+.
Mandatory Skill :GCP CLOUD ,ADMIN.
Role Summary :
We are seeking an experienced GCP Administrator & Support Engineer to manage, monitor, and support our Google Cloud Platform environment.
The role involves ensuring the availability, performance, security, and reliability of GCP services, as well as providing day-to-day operational support, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
Key Responsibilities :
- Administer and support GCP infrastructure services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, etc.
- Monitor system health, performance, and availability using GCP monitoring tools (Stackdriver, Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring).
- Manage user access and security policies via IAM and service accounts.
- Perform incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for GCP services.
- Deploy, configure, and manage networking (VPC, VPN, Interconnect, Load Balancers, Firewalls) within GCP.
- Automate operational tasks using Terraform / Deployment Manager / scripts.
- Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery (DR) solutions on GCP.
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams for application deployment and integration.
- Ensure compliance with security and governance policies.
- Create and maintain documentation, runbooks, and SOPs for GCP operations.
Required Skills :
- Hands-on with GCP services : Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, IAM, Networking, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, GKE, Pub/Sub.
- Good knowledge of Linux/Windows system administration.
- Familiarity with scripting (Python, Shell, PowerShell, etc.) for automation.
- Understanding of networking (DNS, VPN, Load Balancing, Firewalls, VPC peering).
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (Stackdriver / Cloud Monitoring).
- Knowledge of Cloud Security best practices, IAM, and compliance.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management).
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills :
- Exposure to Kubernetes (GKE) and container management.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- GCP Certification (e.g., Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect) is a plus.
