About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer with strong expertise in manual testing and a solid understanding of e-commerce and subscription-based business models.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with subscription billing platforms (preferably Zuora) and a working knowledge of finance operations like billing schedules, revenue recognition, invoicing, and month-end close processes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Review and analyze user stories/requirements to design detailed and comprehensive test cases with clear expected results and input data.

- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for e-commerce and subscription-based applications.

- Log, track, and triage defects effectively, ensuring proper prioritization and follow-up.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Finance, Development) to clarify requirements and resolve issues.

- Test and validate workflows on subscription billing platforms (preferably Zuora).

- Ensure testing aligns with finance-related processes like invoicing, billing, revenue schedules, and month-end activities.

- Provide clear and concise test reports and communicate status to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 4 6 years of experience in manual testing with strong test case writing and defect management skills.

- Hands-on experience working on e-commerce platforms (B2B & B2C models).

- Good understanding of subscription-based business models and related workflows.

- Familiarity with finance concepts : billing schedules, revenue schedules, invoicing, payment terms, and month-end close.

- Experience with Zuora or similar subscription billing platforms is highly preferred.

- Strong analytical and communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
